Job Summary

The CT Imaging Specialist is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality CT procedures using advanced x-ray equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the human anatomy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate head or body x-ray scanners to create computer-generated cross-sectional images
  • Perform routine and special CT exams adhering to established protocols
  • Complete all exams and documentation accurately in computerized health information and PACS
  • Educate and prepare patients for their examinations
  • Demonstrate commitment to safe practices and As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principles
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program
Licenses
  • ARRT: RT(R)(CT) RT(N)(CT)
  • NMTCB: CNMT, NMTCB(CT), BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
