Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee. As a CT Scanner Operator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging exams used in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
  • Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special and advanced procedures.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
  • Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Radiology certification program or registration in Radiology.
  • No experience required.
Work Environment

As a Radiology Technologist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. You will be required to stand and walk frequently, use vision and depth perception for distances near and far, and use hearing and speech to communicate with patients and colleagues.
