Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Ingenuity Air. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment in residential and light commercial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment according to blueprints and engineering specifications.
  • Diagnose and identify electrical/mechanical faults and maintenance risks for HVAC systems.
  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
  • Perform emergency and on-call repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Use technology platforms to keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions performed and time tracking.
  • Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.
  • Provide service-related information to Service Managers regarding estimates, problems, and customer feedback.
  • Provide technical support and accurate paperwork to Service Managers and Service Administrators.

Requirements:

  • At least two (2) years of experience relating to HVAC technician work, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
  • Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
  • General knowledge of the hazards of the trade and necessary precautionary measures.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime and on-call on an as needed basis.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Must be able to see well, climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, work in hot areas and in high places, lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more, and work easily and skillfully with hands and fingers to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects and materials.
