POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves preparing and maintaining golf carts while ensuring an exceptional level of service for our members and their guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Preparing carts for daily use.
  2. Stocking and maintaining carts before and after each round.
  3. Assisting other departments within the course as required.
  4. Cleaning and organizing the golf cart storage area.
  5. Ensuring a tidy and well-organized staging area for carts and bags.
  6. Exhibiting a commitment to the club's success through positive interactions with staff and patrons, while meeting established service and safety standards.
  7. Completing additional tasks as directed by management.
  8. Maintaining regular and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position involves exposure to various environmental conditions, including potential inclement weather and the use of equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:

  1. Ability to operate golf carts safely.
  2. Effective verbal communication skills with members.
  3. Strong customer service orientation with attention to detail.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Familiarity with golf is preferred.
  2. Prior experience in a customer service role is advantageous.
  3. Must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver's license.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Visual and auditory skills for reading documents and communicating.
  • Standing and walking for a majority of the shift.
  • Occasional climbing, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity for operating equipment and writing.
  • Ability to lift items exceeding 25 pounds occasionally.
