The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Float Pool position at Mission Hospital is an exciting opportunity to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
- Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the CNA's skills/training and the needs of the Department.
- Consistently assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
- Participate in the implementation of nursing care plans by performing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the licensed nurse.
- Obtain and record initial and ongoing patient information throughout the cycle of care, including admissions data, vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake and output, calorie counts, and other patient information as outlined by policy.
- Current listing with Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
- Required License: BLS.
- Preferred Education: High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
- Preferred Experience: 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting.
