We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Albany Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Perform technical procedures and assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients.
- Utilize nuclear medicine modalities to create diagnostic images and provide a safe and positive experience for patients.
- Enforce radiation safety measures and support teaching and continued learning.
- Prepare and administer dosages of radiopharmaceuticals, position patients for scanning, and operate nuclear medicine instruments and imaging equipment.
- Ensure radiation safety and quality control procedures, disposal of radioactive materials, and monitoring of work areas and patient rooms.
A graduate of a 2-year AMA Nuclear Medicine School, ARRT and NMTCB certification, and on-call responsibility are required.
