Assessment Intervention Management (AIM) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist/LSSP to join our team. As a key member of our evaluation support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional services to public and charter schools in Texas.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct Functional Individual Evaluations (FIEs) and Re-Evaluations (REEDs) for students aged 0-18, referred for special education placement.
- Develop Individualized Educational Plans: Participate in the development of Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies to devise effective intervention strategies that promote student success.
- Attend ARD Committee Meetings: Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee meetings to contribute to appropriate placement and IEP development.
- Utilize Special Education Management Tools: Utilize and manage testing kits, diagnostic software, and special education management tools to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records and compile reports for AIM and school/district requirements.
- Monitor and Submit Hours: Monitor and submit hours through Quickbooks for AIM.
- Collaborate with Directors: Collaborate on various tasks and duties as assigned by the Director(s) of Evaluation Support or other AIM leaders.
- Master's Degree in School Psychology: Possess a Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Licensed in Texas: Be licensed in the state of Texas.
- Proven Experience: Have proven experience in child development and psychological assessment for children aged 0-18.
- Bilingual: Be bilingual.
- Proficient in Special Education Management Tools: Be proficient in using test kits, diagnostic software, and special education management tools.
- Strong Report Writing Skills: Possess strong report writing skills.
- Effective Time Management: Demonstrate effective time management and punctuality.
- Professional Email Etiquette: Possess professional email and messaging etiquette.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office: Be familiar with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual Bonus: Eligible for a bilingual bonus of up to $5,000 per school year for full-time bilingual employees (must pass proficiency exam).
