Carle Health is seeking a skilled GI Hospitalist to join our team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.

Practice Details
  • Inpatient Consults and Procedures: Our GI Hospitalist will provide inpatient consults and procedures for Gastroenterology, including EUS and ERCP.
  • Schedule: The schedule is 25 weeks (175 shifts) per year, Monday-Sunday, 24-hour coverage, in-house from 7a-7pm, with holidays as part of the normal schedule rotation.
  • Support: Full-time Advanced Practitioner support is available for daytime coverage.
  • EPIC EMR: Our hospital uses the EPIC EMR system.
  • Triage and Rounds: The GI Hospitalist will triage calls for GI and round on patients at all three hospital campuses.
  • Procedure Expertise: The ideal candidate will have expertise in EUS and ERCP procedures.
  • Colorectal Tumor Boards: Participation in biweekly colorectal tumor boards is expected.
  • Carle Health Methodist Hospital: Our hospital is a 349-bed Level II Trauma Center with excellent patient outcomes.
