Responsibilities
  • Take orders from guests via phone and in-person, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Communicate with the kitchen to ensure that special requests, allergies, and dietary needs are met.
  • Answer questions about menu selections and provide recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the collection and return of food and beverage items to their proper areas.
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking and cleaning as needed.
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, including reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of hotel experience, preferably in a luxury or Forbes Five-Star environment.
  • Ability to carry food and beverage trays safely and professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective listening skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical demands include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, as well as moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
