Our winery is complemented by a vibrant tasting room, where we offer an engaging experience for our guests.

We are currently in search of support for our tasting room operations.

Our tasting room environment is professional, inviting, and knowledgeable.

Our team is dedicated to connecting with guests, showcasing our wines, sharing our family history, promoting our wine club, and explaining the fundamentals of winemaking.

Our tasting room operates Thursdays through Mondays, and we are looking to expand our team with additional shifts.

Typical weekly hours are flexible, and there is potential for this role to evolve into a management position for motivated and well-suited candidates.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 21 years or older.
Previous experience in a tasting room is essential.
Background in sales, customer service, or hospitality is preferred.
Management experience is a plus.
Dependability is crucial.
Knowledge of wine and its production is required.
Familiarity with digital marketing and social media is advantageous.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
Ability to engage with customers and deliver outstanding service.
Enthusiastic and engaging personality.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift cases of wine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet all guests warmly upon their arrival at the Tasting Room.
Verify the age of guests to ensure compliance with legal drinking regulations.
Offer wine samples in accordance with local laws.
Identify sales opportunities and encourage guests to purchase wines and join the wine club.
Effectively communicate the advantages of wine club membership and assist with enrollment.
Collaborate with management on wine club operations, including shipments and pickups.
Assist with basic food preparation (training will be provided).
Utilize a POS system for sales transactions and inventory management (training will be provided).
Prepare the tasting room for opening and closing duties.
Maintain high visual standards to create a pleasant atmosphere (including cleaning displays, dusting bottles, and polishing glasses).

COMPENSATION:
Hourly wage ranges from $18 to $23, based on experience. Commission-based compensation may be negotiable.
Comprehensive training will be provided for all job aspects.
