EHS Specialist

Abundant Solutions is seeking a highly skilled EHS Technical Writer to join our team. As an EHS Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures that ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

• Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits to identify compliance issues, HSE risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Investigate HSE incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to maintain records and improve HSE performance.
• Collaborate with the HSE Supervisor and other team members to enhance HSE performance and conduct risk assessments for new and existing tasks and equipment.
• Develop and implement process improvements and manage actions to completion.
• Provide training and assistance to leads, supervisors, and managers with their HSE responsibilities and maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity to create reports and documents.

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational safety, or a related field; or 4+ years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Ideal hours are 6AM – 4:30 PM, with overtime possible depending on production needs.

Competitive hourly rate of $30/hour.
