We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Transdev. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance inspections, completing repairs, and diagnosing and repairing vehicle and equipment issues.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance inspections (PM's) to ensure vehicles and equipment are in good working condition
- Complete repairs on defects found during PM's, including brakes, suspensions, engines, and transmissions
- Diagnose and repair vehicle and equipment issues, including brakes, suspensions, engines, and transmissions
- Complete repairs on defects noted during daily vehicle inspections-pre-trip inspections (DVI's)
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately
- Valid driver's license required
- At least 1 year of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education & experience
- Mechanic's toolset
- ASE certifications preferred. Must be willing to participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided)
- Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason
