Job Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and escort them to an appropriate table for dining.
  • Assist our teams when needed, living our "ONE TEAM. ONE VISION." philosophy.
  • Provide innovative ways to promote and engage in internal growth programs.
  • Continuously exemplify and live by our Culture.
  • Meet/exceed our company goals and three metrics.
  • Complete all required training.
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures and property-specific brand standards.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guests.
  • Provide personalized, friendly service to each and every guest.
  • Greet guests arriving and departing the restaurant.
  • Seat guests at an appropriate table for their party's size and needs.
  • Assist bussers and servers as needed.
  • Provide appropriate wait times and handle pressure situations with tact and professionalism.

Necessary Skills:

  • Keep confidential the business functions of the company, including financial status, customer/guest information, associate issues, etc.
  • Be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow associates, and hotel assets.
  • Have knowledge of fire alarm systems and evacuation procedures.
  • Be able to report to all scheduled shifts.
  • Be able to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in person.
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be organized, honest, and work well with others.
  • Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and person.
  • Have the highest degree of integrity and be humble, living by the Golden Rule.
  • Be able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Value dedication, innovation, showing respect, being driven by excellence, being community-focused, and having a spirit of service.
  • Be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, and stretch, and lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Be able to perform work for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment.
  • Have eyesight enabling vision both near and far.
  • Be able to use/lift arms for up to 8 hours.
  • Be able to handle heat and stress.
  • Have finger dexterity for operating equipment.
  • Be able to speak in a clear, understandable voice, hear at a basic level, and understand English.
  • Be able to write.
