Mechanic for Manufacturing Plant

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Source Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant by performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including food manufacturing machines, refrigeration systems, and material handling equipment.
- Monitor and maintain the condition of equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; trade school certification or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing production plant.
- Experience working with industrial refrigeration and heavy industrial equipment, such as forklifts.
- Working knowledge of industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, and packaging equipment.
- Hands-on experience with robotic machinery and Siemens PLCs for packaging machines.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
- Electrical background up to 480V industrial 3-phase and basic PC/software skills.
- Maintain GMP standards and be authorized to work in the USA without the need for a visa sponsorship.
