About the Position: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification.
Job Summary: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying revenue opportunities, and developing new sales leads in assigned verticals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with current customers and referral sources.
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue additional revenue opportunities.
- Create, manage, and maintain key relationships with insurance agents and adjusters.
- Continuously build product knowledge and refine sales techniques for specific relationship types and verticals.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Participate in collections efforts and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Proficient in technology, including Luxor.
- Competitive and accountable, with a willingness to ask tough questions and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to documentation and tracking of results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in the Disaster Restoration field, with IICRC certifications strongly desired.
- 6-12 months of sales experience or prior sales training is highly desirable, but not required.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Move up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Sit for long periods of time while using office equipment.
- Finger and repetitive motion activities, such as typing and data entry.
- Close visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities.
- Regularly exposed to various inside working conditions.
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year.
