Host Ambassador

Welcome to Cali, where we're passionate about serving up more than just great food - we're dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience for our guests. As a Host, you'll be the first and last impression our guests have of our restaurant, and we're looking for someone who embodies the sunshine we strive to bring to every table.

As a Host, you'll be responsible for welcoming guests, seating them, and creating organic and memorable interactions that reflect our mission and values. You'll get to know our menu inside and out, connect with guests, and anticipate their needs. It's a fast-paced setting, but we're looking for someone who thrives in the energy and can work independently and as part of a team.

We're not just looking for someone who can take direction - we're looking for someone who can take ownership of their role and help us create a menu and vibe that's good for the people and the planet. The Details:

• Must be an ambassador of our mission and core values
• Get to know our menu items from the inside out
• Connect with guests and anticipate their needs
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 6 hours daily, or as needed
• Able to tolerate potential food allergens
• Comply with proper cash handling procedures (along with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness, and safety of the restaurant)
• Perform additional opening/closing/mid shift responsibilities, as needed, to keep the restaurant stocked and clean

Requirements:

• Passion for food, people, and the planet
• Energetic attitude and personality
• Get to know our menu items from the inside out
• Connect with guests and anticipate their needs
• Willing to take direction and work both independently and with a team
• Able to lift at least 20 pounds regularly and reach, squat, and bend
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 6 hours daily, or as needed
• Open-minded, honest & willingness to learn and develop
• Have personal passion for wellness and self-growth
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Able to tolerate potential food allergens
• Comply with proper cash handling procedures (along with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness, and safety of the restaurant)
• Perform additional opening/closing/mid shift responsibilities, as needed, to keep the restaurant stocked and clean
