Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cath Lab Technologist to work in a hospital setting. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate medical equipment, such as fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices, to assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring the proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize departmental efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related specialty.
- Experience working in a Catheterization Laboratory or a related healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
