Rehabilitation Therapist

Location: Rock Hill, SC

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement suitable occupational therapy programs for patients with disabilities
  • Enhances physical function, increases range of motion, and improves strength and coordination through therapeutic exercises and activities
  • Assesses the need for adaptive equipment and assistive devices, providing training on their proper use
  • Monitors, documents, and communicates patient responses to treatment and any changes in their condition to the physician
  • Regularly reviews patient medical records to ensure proper documentation, re-certifications, and supervisory visits are conducted
  • Educates other healthcare team members, including nurses, aides, and family members, on specific occupational therapy techniques
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in the relevant state
  • Current CPR certification
  • At least one year of direct patient care experience, preferably in a home health setting
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance
