Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver Specialist to join our team at Brockton Area Multi-Servi, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. Responsibilities
  • Support Individuals: Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Community Involvement: Facilitate community integration by accompanying individuals to social events, appointments, and recreational activities, promoting social connections and friendships.
  • Assist with Medication Administration: Follow the Department of Public Health's (DPH) Medication Administration Program (MAP) policies, including medication administration, documentation, and adherence to individual service plans.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess a solid understanding of developmental and physical disabilities, English language proficiency, and the ability to conduct assessments and interpret medical treatments.
  • Education and Experience: Hold a High School diploma or equivalent, with preference given to Certified Nursing Assistant, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree holders. A valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and 3+ years of driving experience are also required.
