Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. You will work closely with our patients, their families, and our healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care for patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to patients and their families
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, and obtain co-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders
  • Follow up with patients, families, and healthcare team on patient problems, concerns, and changes in patient condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation
