Job Description

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare organization and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PICU setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the intensive care unit
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record
Requirements
  • Current RN license in New York or Compact State
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • 2 years of recent experience in pediatric critical care
  • NALS or NRP certification preferred
