Job Description
As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be integral to our cardiology department, providing high-quality ultrasound services. Your role will involve:
- Conducting comprehensive ultrasound examinations to assist in diagnosing cardiac conditions.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educating patients about procedures and ensuring their comfort and understanding.
- Monitoring patient conditions throughout the imaging process and responding to any changes.
- Implementing safety protocols and performing quality control on imaging equipment.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A degree from an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
- Certification as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
- State licensure as required.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
