Aquatics Swim Instructor Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aquatics Swim Instructor to join our team at Life Time Fitness. As an Aquatics Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons and aquatic programs to members of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruct swimming lessons and aquatic programs
  • Respond to member questions, comments, and concerns
  • Provide a safe, clean, and organized pool area
  • Promote and sell all aquatic programs and services
Requirements:
  • Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
  • CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certifications (within 60 days of hire)
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
  • Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
  • Ability to routinely lift more than 20 lbs
Preferred Requirements:
  • Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience
