We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the California Correctional Health Care Services. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in a correctional facility setting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for radiologic examinations and take x-rays for various body structures.
- Maintain equipment and quarters, and keep accurate records and files.
- Supervise inmate-workers and conduct patients in treatment, as needed.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the California State Department of Health Services. Additionally, you must have either two years of experience in radiologic techniques and methods under an accredited medical radiologist or successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association.
Working ConditionsThis position requires travel and may involve working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. You must be able to work effectively in a team setting and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
