• Process and prepare tissue specimens for examination, ensuring high-quality results.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality control.
• Assist pathologists in diagnosing diseases by preparing and processing samples.
• Document and record laboratory procedures and results accurately.
• Stay up-to-date with new histology techniques and methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in histotechnology or a related field.
• Certification by a recognized body, such as the ASCP.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
