About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Veterinarian to join our team in Richmond, VA. As a Veterinary Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients while developing strong relationships with their owners.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university and licensure to practice in the state of Virginia. You will be expected to perform physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry, as well as communicate effectively with clients to educate them on preventative health care and treatment plans.
Responsibilities:- Develop a rapport with clients and determine their needs and wishes
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures
- Explain examination findings and communicate a diagnosis to clients
- Generate and present a treatment plan for each patient
- Maintain client/patient medical records and logs
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Licensure to practice in the state of Virginia
- Professional comportment and appearance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
