Disaster Recovery Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Restoration Specialist to join our team at the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. As a Restoration Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our clients recover from property damage and disasters.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage, and other disasters.
- Evaluate and perform restoration activities, including water extraction, fire damage repair, and demolition.
- Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and necessary supplies for each project.
- Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
- Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
- Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying, and site clean-up.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
- IICRC certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
We offer a competitive salary of $13.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.
