Key Responsibilities- Delivering High-Quality Patient Care: Utilize evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to provide individualized patient care and ensure safe delivery of medications.
- Effective Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans.
- Medication Administration: Leverage the latest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies to ensure the safest delivery of medications to our patients.
- Electronic Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic documentation of patient assessments, plan-of-care, interventions, and evaluation of rendered care.
- Patient Education: Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
- Discharge Planning: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care for patients.
- Requirements: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license, Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification, BSN or obtain within 3 years, and a minimum of 1 year of OR RN experience preferred.
