We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HVACR Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at After Hours Heating & Cooling. As an HVACR Service Technician Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch service to our industrial, commercial, and residential customers.

Job Description

As an HVACR Service Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced technicians with routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and performing basic repairs. Your primary goal will be to learn the skills necessary to become a proficient HVACR technician while working under the guidance of our seasoned professionals.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with various HVACR systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. You will also have the opportunity to work on projects related to Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and Installation departments, further expanding your knowledge and skillset.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HVACR or related field, or currently enrolled in a post-secondary formal HVACR program of instruction.
  • Possess good oral and written skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions, and to clearly communicate with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to perform all duties under varying conditions, circumstances, and weather extremes found in the region.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, climb ladders, and work at heights without fear.
  • Hold a current state operator's license and the ability to operate company vehicles within 30 days of initial employment.
