About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Dermatology Specialist Physician to join our Department of Surgery, Division of Dermatology at City of Hope. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an academic medical center or specialty cancer center delivering both clinical and translational research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support quality and safety, lead and maintain clinical excellence and innovation for our Dermatology Program in Irvine
- Oversee an expanding portfolio, including graft vs. host disease (GvHD) treatment
- Treatment of early stage cutaneous malignancies and cutaneous complications of chemo and biologic therapies
- Oversee a program of research and treatment of cutaneous complications of cancer therapy
Requirements:
- Experience working in an academic medical center or specialty cancer center
- Academic record consistent with appointment of Assistant Clinical Professor
- Participate in clinical research and demonstrate a commitment to research
- Applicants must have a M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree, and be Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Dermatology
- The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license
