Responsibilities include a fundamental understanding of cleaning agents, upkeep of cleaning equipment, and safe handling of hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or custodial role
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Access to reliable transportation is preferred

Job Type/Hours:

This role offers both Full-Time and Part-Time positions, with a variety of shifts available including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Full-Time employees are expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, while Part-Time employees should commit to 8-20 hours per week. Additionally, Full-Time staff may be required to undertake up to 3 hours of administrative tasks weekly, pending approval from the department VP.

Physical Requirements:

This position is physically demanding, necessitating standing, walking, bending, lifting, and transporting items weighing over 50 pounds. Candidates must be capable of performing these activities throughout their shifts. Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Travel Requirements:

Some local travel may be necessary for training and job responsibilities. Cleaning Specialists may need to travel between different locations as required.
