Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Part Time

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northwest Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Maryland. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Respiratory Therapy department.

Job Summary:

Under the medical direction of our healthcare team, you will provide treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation to patients with cardio-pulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities. Your expertise will be essential in helping us deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care practices and technologies to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
  • Current Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner license and National Board of Respiratory Care registration.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
