Emergency Medical Technician

We are seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at La Frontera Empact. As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with the Mesa police department to provide emergency medical services and crisis intervention in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical services, including taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, and preparing clients for next medical or crisis de-escalation steps.
- Assist with Crisis Intervention and Case Management services to stabilize clients in need of Behavioral Health Support.
- Work independently and cooperatively with internal and external team members, stakeholders, and community partners.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED completion from an accredited program for EMT or Paramedic Certification required.
- Skills in working in a high-paced environment in a community setting required.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and with a team player type approach required.
