Clinical Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our team at The Society For Cardiovascular Angiography And Interventions. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Support: Under the direction of providers, you will provide clinical support functions and professional nursing care to patients using established standards of clinical nursing care and procedures.
- Assess Patient Needs: You will assess patients' needs, provide input into the plan of care, and implement prescribed interventions.
- Coordinate Patient Care: You will coordinate patient care as directed by providers, RNs, and policies, including referrals, transition visits, medications, procedures, and follow-up.
- Document Patient Information: You will accurately document patient assessment and care in the medical record in a timely manner.
- Ensure Patient Safety: You will ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to OSHA standards and HIPAA guidelines.
- Education and Certification: High School diploma or GED, current and unrestricted State Vocational/Practical Nursing license, IV certification (if required), and current BLS certification.
- Skills and Experience: Proven knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures, effective listening and communication skills, ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations, and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Physical and Mental Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, push or pull heavy objects using up to 25 pounds of force, and use fine motor skills to operate equipment and/or machinery.
