Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal Coordinator to join our team in Washington, D.C. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a salary between $120k-124k plus excellent benefits and bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate teams on large filings and assist with day-to-day questions and quality control checks
  • Perform complex paralegal work and collaborate with the Paralegal Manager on identifying training and development needs
  • Ensure the day-to-day work of the practice is performed efficiently and to uniform high standards
  • Work with attorneys and other practice Legal Support staff on client-billable projects, including research, cite-checking, and filing of legal briefs and memoranda
  • Review routine work product, answer Project Assistant questions, and provide feedback and guidance on document formatting and preparation, cite-checking, and APO compliance
  • Meet regularly with the paralegal manager to assess training needs and individual development of the Project Assistant team
  • Maintain current knowledge of cite-checking and filing requirements at the Department of Commerce, International Trade Commission, Court of International Trade, and Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit
  • Develop strong working relationships with practice members and meet the Firm's minimum hours expectations of 1700 total chargeable hours annually
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; paralegal, training, or trade remedies experience a plus
  • Minimum two (2) plus years of training and development experience, preferably in the law firm environment, with progressing levels of responsibility throughout career
  • Demonstrated self-starter who shows ownership and commitment to perform responsibilities with high professional standards
Work Environment
  • Position operates in a professional office environment which is usually quiet to moderate
  • Position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets
  • Position requires that the employee be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
