We are seeking a dedicated physician for a Hematology/Oncology role that emphasizes a balanced work-life dynamic.
- Clinical Responsibilities:
- Practice primarily in an outpatient setting with minimal inpatient duties.
- Standard workweek: Monday to Friday, with 9-hour shifts.
- Focus on adult and geriatric patient populations.
- Workload split: 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology.
- Collaborate with 2 Radiation Oncologists and 4 Advanced Practice Providers.
- Manage a patient load of 12-16 individuals daily.
- Essential procedures include management of VAD/CV Catheters and Intrathecal chemotherapy.
- Engage in Tumor Board meetings, order diagnostic tests and imaging, and prescribe treatments.
- Chemo administration is handled by nursing staff based on physician directives.
- Enjoy a supportive environment with excellent work-life balance, including 5-6 call days monthly, one holiday per year, and at-home call options.
- Receive comprehensive support before, during, and after procedures.
- All surgical procedures are available, excluding transplants; limited pediatric care; support for OB, Cath Lab, and ED.
- Opportunity to mentor CRNA students.
- EMR system utilized: Mosaiq.
- Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates; not accepting locum tenens candidates.
