Position Overview- Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Job Details:
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift Length: 12 hours
Role Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be part of a Resource Team/Float Pool and will work rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays. The role may involve:
- Floating to various units within the critical care cluster.
- Daily communication to confirm assigned units for each shift.
- Occasional assignments in Medical-Surgical units, if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Current ND/Compact License
- A minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience in a large, level 1 trauma facility
- Proficiency in titrating vasopressor drips
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
Additional Information:
- Equipment utilized includes EPIC EMR, Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinet, Aleris IV pumps, and Phillips Patient Monitoring Systems.
- The nurse-to-patient ratio in the ICU is typically 1:2.
