Job Summary

Civista Bank is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Personal Banker II to join our team. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, providing exceptional customer service, and identifying opportunities to expand our banking relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing personalized solutions to meet those needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive knowledge of our banking products and services, including deposit and lending products, to effectively recommend and sell to customers.
  • Sales and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell our products and services to customers, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Operational Tasks: Perform daily operational tasks, including processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of previous banking experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technology: Proficient in banking software and technology, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to attend meetings, training, and other business-related activities.
