CT Technologist

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in the Imaging Department. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating Siemens computerized tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately interpret physician's scanning instructions
- Administer contrast material
- Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
- Position patients to capture high-quality images
- Send images to radiologists for interpretation and reading
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
- Graduate of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiologist certification (ARRT-R) required
- California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred or willing to obtain within one year from start date
- Venipuncture certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist preferred
- At least 6 months of experience with Siemens brand scanners preferred
