About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team at The Hometown Pharmacy. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of physician medication orders to ensure appropriateness and safety.
  • Provide expert recommendations for therapy modifications and conduct Drug Utilization Reviews to prevent adverse drug interactions.
  • Maintain accurate patient/resident databases and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to reconcile Controlled Substances Logs.
  • Collaborate with the Chief RPh to ensure compliance with cost containment strategies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide clinical and technical support to the healthcare team and respond to drug-related inquiries and concerns.
