European Legal Expert for Strategic Partnerships

At Balchem, we are seeking a seasoned European Legal Expert to join our team as Senior Counsel, Europe. This role will be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and will provide critical legal guidance and support to our business operations in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as lead counsel for matters related to Europe, including labor & employment, corporate entity management, environmental law, compliance, litigation, and contract negotiation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and agreements with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and provide expert advice on complex legal matters.
Requirements:
  • Law degree from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in an EU or EEA country, including Switzerland.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department environment, preferably with in-house experience.
  • Strong expertise in environmental law, compliance, and labor & employment matters is highly desirable.
