We are currently seeking a dedicated Bag Quality Inspector for our production facility. This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of quality and ensuring that our products meet industry specifications. The successful candidate will be required to work on the 2nd Shift (3pm - 11am).
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of bags on the inspection table, checking for defects such as open ends, improper seals, and other quality issues.
- Set aside bags that require further inspection or replacement as necessary.
- Dispose of any bags that do not meet quality standards.
- Utilize a glue gun to reclaim bags when possible.
- Communicate with the Bottomer Operator regarding any recurring quality issues.
- Document and report the number of bags stacked on each pallet during the shift.
- Assist fellow inspectors with additional tasks as needed to maintain workflow.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management to support production continuity.
