Responsibilities
  • Lead technical projects, including inspection, investigation, evaluation, design, and construction of dams, reservoirs, levees, and hydraulic structures.
  • Develop and review design calculations, engineering reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct senior-level reviews of construction documents and provide expert advice.
  • Assist with business development and build/maintain client relationships.
  • Coordinate project workloads with multiple offices and represent the firm at networking events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 12+ years of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical, and/or structural engineering.
  • PE License and proficiency in evaluating construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of state and federal dam safety design methodologies, policies, and regulations.
  • Project management and client relations experience, as well as business development and proposal experience.
