The University of Kansas Health System's Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine invites applications for an academic Dermatopathologist position. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of the field through research and education, while providing excellent patient care as part of a high-volume pathology practice.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis faculty position involves:
- Managing diagnostic sign-out across various subspecialty areas, with a focus on general surgical pathology frozen section services
- Supporting the education of medical students, residents, and fellows through hands-on training and mentorship
- Developing and leading research projects aligned with personal interests
- MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology
- Fellowship Training in Dermatopathology
- Eligibility for Unrestricted Licensure for the Practice of Medicine in Kansas
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $400,000 - $600,000, including recent increases in compensation. Additional benefits include a generous retirement contribution, relocation assistance, health, dental, vision insurance, CME allowance, LTD/STD and Life insurance, and Professional liability insurance.
