We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MCS and Shock Coordinator Registered Nurse to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. This critical role plays a vital part in managing care for patients experiencing heart failure and shock.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of critical care experience in a hospital setting, 1 year experience in management of organ failure/transplant/VAD/ECMO patients preferred, BSN Required, Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per St. David's Healthcare policy, ACLS certification as per St. David's Healthcare policy, NIHSS certification required as per St. David's Healthcare policy.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing programs to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies
