Becker Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ICU Nurse to join our team on the night shift. As a critical care registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans based on thorough assessments and evaluations.
- Monitor and record patient condition, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate patient transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Educate patients and families on health management, promoting self-advocacy and empowerment.
- Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, ensuring effective and efficient care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent)
- Current unrestricted licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU nursing
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- PALS certification within 6 months of hire
- TNCC certification within 1 year of hire
