Pharmacy Technician Job Summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and maintaining patient records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure and distribute medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Maintain adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the effective operation of the department.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities of the department.
  • Maintain competence required for current job title/positions.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Health care experience desired.
Work Environment:

Weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Repetitive use of hands and fingers, may require lifting and carrying of light loads (up to 40lbs), and walking or standing for long periods of time.
