CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking a qualified Senior Technical Project Manager to contribute to a long-term contract position in Fort Worth, TX.

This role is essential in aiding the primary software development lead to effectively execute intricate, multi-dimensional software development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing timelines, coordinating diverse teams, and communicating project progress to leadership while adeptly identifying and mitigating potential risks.

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, your responsibilities will encompass overseeing project coordination, maintaining comprehensive project plans, and ensuring transparent communication among all project stakeholders.

Your capability to juggle multiple tasks, pinpoint potential challenges, and collaborate with various internal and external teams will be crucial for the successful delivery of projects.



Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate project management activities and facilitate information flow.
2. Define project parameters and establish timelines for development, testing, and delivery.
3. Liaise with external teams to identify and articulate project requirements, scope, and objectives.
4. Oversee schedule management to ensure adherence to project milestones.
5. Monitor project advancement, identify risks and opportunities, and address issues as they arise.
6. Serve as the primary point of contact for project status and updates.
7. Collaborate with internal development teams to eliminate obstacles and ensure seamless project execution.
8. Create, maintain, and disseminate comprehensive project documentation, including plans and reports.


Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Technical Project Manager, IT Project Manager, or similar roles, specifically in software development projects.
3. Proficiency in methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall.
4. Understanding of software development processes, coding, architecture, and testing.
5. Familiarity with tools like Git, Jenkins, Jira, or other CI/CD and issue-tracking tools.
6. Experience in developing contingency plans and managing unexpected challenges.
7. Ability to translate complex technical details into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
9. Positive attitude and ability to navigate complex project challenges.

Preferred

Qualifications:
Experience in the railway or transportation industry.
