Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Epic System Specialist to join our team. As an Epic Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall EMR structure, ensuring that clinicians have the necessary tools to perform their jobs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, test, debug, and maintain Epic ClinDoc & Stork software applications.
  • Provide guidance and support to end-users to enhance the use of the Epic System.
  • Lead projects or project steps within a broader project, or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives; mentor team members and assist managers/supervisors in prioritizing work within given areas of expertise.
  • Work independently, with guidance only in complex situations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Healthcare preferred, or eight years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum six years of Epic-related experience required.
  • Epic ClinDoc certification required.
  • Kaizen basics course within the first year of employment; base understanding of Lean preferred.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills; solid communication skills, both oral and written; ability to work in departments and interdepartmentally to articulate ideas, negotiate resolutions, and achieve objectives.
