Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Tehama County Department of Education. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues
- Assist with special projects, such as renovations and upgrades
- Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including vehicles and power tools
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license and evidence of insurance required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
